It is a sequel to Rag Doll for Christmas and describes the comedy of hospital life, recovering from two strokes and eventual implantation of a heart defibrillator. Rag dolls were given to children as presents at Christmas and, after the effects of a stroke, Ange likened herself to a floppy rag doll.
